I'm Kim Syvertson-Utesch, a digital artist and crafter rooted in the wild beauty of Minnesota. My work is deeply inspired by nature—loons on quiet lakes, northern lights dancing across the sky, and the shifting rhythm of the seasons. I’ve always been drawn to color and mood, even as a kid sketching animals and landscapes on scrap paper. I got my start as a graphic artist in the late 1970s, back when layouts were done by hand and creativity meant getting your fingers inky.

 

That foundation shaped how I see and build visual stories today. Over time, my love for art evolved into a passion for digital creation, where I can explore imagination without limits. Whether I’m sketching from memory or experimenting with AI tools, each piece starts with a feeling I want to share. My gallery is a mix of dreamscapes, nature reflections, and emotional snapshots—art that invites you to pause, wonder, and connect. Approaching 70, I am just getting started on this next beautiful adventure.
